Brian Muir

Brian Muir, President and Founder of the James Madison Group Inc., has over 15 years of training experience in building customer service, sales, and management teams. He has worked with all organizational levels, including upper management, supervisory, and front-line staff. While at Equis International, a global investment software company and division of Reuters Ltd., he trained customer service staff, management, and business partners in over 20 countries. He also created training courses for front-line customer service staff, sales, marketing, and management.

Brian graduated with high distinction with a Masters of Public Administration from Brigham Young University and has a B.A. in English Literature. He served for four years on the North Salt Lake City Council. His many years of first-hand local government experience and training uniquely qualify him to teach specialized municipal workshops. Some attendees have said:

Seeing a need for more training catered to the unique challenges the public sector faces, Brian founded The James Madison Group, Inc. Brian has developed some new workshops based on the needs of his public sector customers, including “The Effective Municipal Leader,” “Life-Family-Work-Balance,” “Strategic Goal-Setting,” and more.


Nancy Kypta

Nancy Kypta has been designing and conducting sales, management, and customer service training for industry and government throughout North America since 1975. In addition to training many Fortune 500 companies, she has consulted extensively with hundreds of city and county administrators. Nancy was also formerly Corporate Training Director for Macy’s California .

As President of Kypta Associates, Nancy developed and conducted numerous workshops and seminars throughout North America . For the past 10 years, Nancy has worked exclusively with 60+ California municipalities training more than 10,000 staff and management personnel. She has also conducted train-the-trainer courses for other training companies throughout the United States .

Nancy joined The James Madison Group as a trainer over a year ago and has made an immediate impact. Nancy ’s high-energy level, enthusiastic style, and outstanding presentation skills will assure you of a highly motivated, more productive staff and management team.


 
Jeff Mulitalo

Paovale Jeff Mulitalo has exceptional experience in management-related training and research. In addition to his work with the James Madison Group, Jeff currently works as Human Resource Program Manager for the Administrative Office of the Utah Courts, where he designs and conducts leadership training programs. Jeff also uses his creative and engaging management training style for doing public sector consulting and facilitation for the courts.

As an associate instructor at the University of Utah , Jeff has co-taught graduate courses in organizational change for the Masters of Public Administration program. In addition, he worked for three and ½ years at the University of Utah in student affairs administration and academic counseling.

Jeff earned a Masters of Public Administration degree from the University of Utah . His thesis centered in public leadership - focusing on transactional, transformational, and collaborative elements. Jeff also has college degrees in Political Science and Sociology and served as an intern for the Utah State Legislature.
